Who we are

michael raskin andrews llc is a single-member limited liability company. Its software (“finops”) is a personal-use financial operations tool operated exclusively by the company's sole member, on his own computer, against his own financial accounts. The application is not offered to the public and has no users other than its operator.

What data is processed

Through Plaid Inc., and with authorization granted via Plaid Link and each financial institution's own consent process, the application retrieves the operator's own bank account information: account metadata, balances, and transactions. It similarly accesses the operator's own cryptocurrency exchange account. No data about any other person is collected.

How data is used

Solely for the operator's personal financial management: cash-flow monitoring, low-balance alerts delivered to the operator's own email, bookkeeping, and tax preparation. Data is never sold, rented, shared with, or disclosed to any third party, and is not used for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.

Where data lives

All retrieved data is stored locally on a single company workstation protected by full-disk encryption; credentials and access tokens are additionally encrypted at rest under a dedicated AWS KMS-managed key. No financial data is stored with third parties beyond the originating providers (Plaid and the financial institutions themselves).

Consent and revocation

Data access is authorized through Plaid Link and each institution's data-sharing consent flow, and can be revoked at any time — at the institution, via Plaid, or by deleting the connection within the application, which revokes the access token and removes the stored data. Retention and deletion

Data is retained only for the operator's personal records and can be deleted at any time by the operator, who is the sole data subject. Details are set out in the company's Data Retention and Disposal Policy.
